The deputy revealed the Parliamentary Bloc of Talaat Karim, near the launch of a former military figure for the post of prime minister.
Karim said in a press statement, “The building alliance is heading towards calming the popular and political scene by offering the name of the former commander of the anti-terror forces, Lieutenant General Abdul-Ghani al-Asadi, to assign him as prime minister, within the next 48 hours after the Iraqi street and the President of the Republic rejected the candidates of the bloc Ex-construction. ”
“The prime minister’s mandate can only be with the consent of the demonstrators and all political forces, and this is a new equation that was previously lost, as the position was held only after the political blocs agreed,” Karim said.
The President of the Republic had sent a message to the House of Representatives waving his resignation in the event that pressure persisted on him to appoint a candidate who was rejected by the Iraqi masses.
