deputy of the Al-Fateh coalition, Hassan Salem, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the withdrawal of the sit-in protesters in front of the American embassy building came in respect of the decision of the Iraqi government.
Salem said in a press statement, “The withdrawal of the protesters from the front of the American embassy came after the decision of the Iraqi government, and
he added,” The sit-ins will remain ongoing near the American embassy until the parliament votes on a decision that obliges the American forces to leave the Iraqi lands and
called the crowd. Wednesday, protesters and sit-in protest in front of the US embassy in Baghdad to withdraw, out of respect for the decision of the Iraqi government.
Yesterday, Commander-in-Chief, Adel Abdel-Mahdi, demanded that everyone leave immediately in front of the US embassy.
He stressed that “any aggression or harassment of foreign embassies and representations is an act that will be strictly prohibited by the security forces and will be punished by law with the most severe penalties.”
And American planes targeted a camp for the Popular Mobilization Forces in the city of Qaim, west of Anbar, and caused 27 martyrs and 51 wounded.
