Samson:  Parliamentary law demands the formation of a High Integrity Court to control corruption

Member of Parliamentary Law Committee Hussein Al-Aqabi pledged, on Saturday, the success of the government in eliminating corruption by taking several major steps, indicating that the judiciary cannot confront corruption without a high integrity court in which the judge is a security guard.

In a statement to Al-Maalouma, Al-Aqabi said, “The government and parliament are required to grant judicial powers to the Office of Financial Supervision to pass cases directly.”

He added, “Legislation regulating the government contracts law allows for the follow-up of contracts in a transparent manner, as well as the formation of a High Integrity Court to investigate corruption.”

He explained that “the Supreme Court of Integrity is similar to the Federal Court in which judges are appointed from jurisdiction and transfer their residence to the Green Zone to prevent targeting or threatening them, in addition to appointing 500 judicial investigators from the jurisdiction as well and granting powers to open corruption cases directly from FAO to Zakho without exception.”   LINK

Samson:  Al-Kazemi: The military forces are empowered to shoot at the border crossers

On Saturday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi authorized the security forces to shoot at those who crossed the border crossings, during his visit since Mandali’s border with Iran

Al-Kazimi said during his visit to the port, that “the military forces are authorized to shoot at the violators at the border crossings. He added, “The customs campus is under the protection of military forces

Al-Kazemi continued, “I asked the head of the outlets to prepare a plan to rehabilitate all the outlets. Al-Kazimi said during the opening of the port, “Our visit to the port is a clear message to all the corrupt that you do not have a foothold in the border crossings as a whole and all departments should work to fight corruption because it is a public demand

And, “Our visit to the Mandali port is a clear message to all the corrupt that you do not exist, and we have prepared plans to fight you and everyone should join hands to fulfill this demand

Samson:  Trump threatens the allies to leave NATO to compel them to pay their financial obligations

US President Donald Trump has said that he does not want the United States to leave the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), but the allies must pay the dues

In a newspaper interview, Trump indicated that there were countries that were “almost not paying anything, and now they are paying

He explained that if this is not the answer, they will not pay, adding, “I want to pay their share fairly

And former National Security Adviser John Bolton said in his book, “The Room where This Happened: Notes from the White House,” that Trump wanted NATO leaders at the 2018 summit to threaten the United States to leave the alliance if they did not pay contributions of 2% of Their countries ’GDP LINK
