An American newspaper revealed, on Tuesday, the terms of the “Deal of the Century” to be announced by President Donald Trump today.
The Washington Post reported that Trump’s peace plan proposes to redraw the borders in the West Bank to annex major settlements to Israel. She added that the Trump peace plan will provide limited autonomy for the Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. She indicated that the Palestinian self-rule will increase over 3 years if the leadership agrees to new political measures.
On Monday, US President Donald Trump announced that he would publish the Middle East peace plan on Tuesday (17:00 GMT). He added, “The peace plan between Palestine and Israel may have a chance for success,” noting that “it (the plan) is very logical to all.” “The peace plan must admire the Palestinians because it is good for them,” he said. Samson: Britain Will Leave The European Union Next Friday
28th January, 2020
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday that his country will begin issuing quick visas to distinguished scholars and researchers as soon as they separate from the European Union, according to Reuters.
Britain will leave the Union next Friday, ending years of controversy over whether Britain will become better or worse away from the European bloc, and begins the path of redefining its economy, local priorities and global standing.
“As we leave the European Union, I want to send a message that the UK welcomes the world’s most talented minds and is ready to support them in turning their ideas into reality,” Johnson said in a statement announcing the new scheme.
From February 20, scientists and researchers will be able to accelerate visa applications if they receive one recommendation from one of four local destinations; however there is a limit to the number of “global talent” visas.
The changes announced on Monday, which were previously reported during the election campaign in late 2019, will be an alternative to a similar system that mostly applies to non-EU citizens, with a maximum of 2000 visas per year. LINK
