Today, US Secretary of State Mike Bombo accused four Iraqi people he described as terrorists belonging to Iran, of attacking the American embassy in Baghdad.
Pompeo wrote on Twitter: “Today’s attack was organized by the terrorists Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qais al-Khazali, and Iranian men Hadi al-Ammari and Faleh al-Fayyad helped them.”
Thousands have demonstrated in the vicinity of the American embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, since last Monday morning, in protest against an American bombardment targeting sites of the Popular Mobilization Forces two days ago.
