Tishwash:  This is what happened between Al-Kazemi and Blashardt today!

The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, received today, Sunday, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Blashardt .

The meeting witnessed, according to the Media Office of the Prime Minister, “discussing the latest efforts made by the Iraqi institutions concerned with conducting early legislative elections .”

The meeting also dealt with “ways to enhance cooperation between Iraq and the United Nations in order to reach the electoral process in the best honest and expressive way of the will of the Iraqi people .”

During the meeting, they discussed “the file of the displaced and the latest efforts made to secure their voluntary return to their original areas of residence .”

The meeting also witnessed “an examination of the implementation progress of programs to combat extremism, and their objectives in order to secure a sustainable, safe national environment in which there is no room for the return of terrorism after its defeat    link
