“Our active diplomacy continues,” Zarif said in a tweet on Twitter.
The Iranian foreign minister went to Kuwait on Saturday and met with members of the Kuwaiti-Iranian Friendship Society. He is scheduled to meet his Kuwaiti counterpart and other senior Kuwaiti officials.
It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and Iran amounts to 8 billion dollars annually and Tehran aspires to raise it to 20 billion dollars in the next few years.
